SPIKE LAVENDER - PURE ORGANIC ESSENTIAL OIL 10ML

This spike lavender essential oil is 100% pure and natural, not diluted or mixed with other oils, essences, alcohol, trementin, additives, fragrances or any other substances, nor is it synthetic or rectified by any added process. Just pure essential oil extracted from the flowering stems of spike lavender plants.

Properties:

Analgesic and shooting pains, antispasmodic, muscle relaxant, antiseptic, bactericidal, expectorant, cholagogue and choleretic, antirheumatic, increases gastric secretion and intestinal motility, anti-migraine, vermifuge, emmenagogue. It is hypotensive.

Indications:

Irritability, spasms, insomnia, eruptive fibres (varicella, measles), infectious diseases, neurasthenia, melancholy. In the respiratory tract as an expectorant and against asthma, flu, colds, bronchitis. In oligurias, rheumatism, weakness, gastric atony, diarrhoea, intestinal parasites. Weak menstruation, leucorrhoea, hypertension. In external use in wounds (diluted), ulcers in the legs, eczema, burns, acne, as a scarring, couperose, bites, parasiticide: crabs, scabies.

Whilst commonly known as spike lavender, the botanical name is Lavandula latifolia Medik. We always include botanical names as it is important for clarity, especially as we work with professionals including aromatherapists, various other complimentary therapists and practitioners. This also tells you the specific variety of plant used, chosen for their unique characteristics and benefits.
